Sanbolic Expands Distribution Channel with JMR Bundle

Chatsworth, CA, October 15, 2001 - JMR Electronics has announced the signing of strategic agreements with five major storage software providers (BakBone, FalconStor, OTG Software and Sanbolic) in an initiative aimed at providing both the channel and OEM clientele of JMR and its partners a turnkey storage solution opportunity. The objective of this initiative is to achieve enhanced interoperability with user independence, and time to market advantage over the competition with SAN and storage management capabilities.

With this agreement, specific FORTRA 10 and 15 (drive) Bay products from JMR will be shipped with Fully Functional Trial or Evaluation copies of the partner software starting October 15 2001, the partners bring both SAN management and comprehensive data management functionality, with scalable license options to our OEM and channel customers. The Fortra kit will include copies of the partner's software on CD copies.

This initiative will emphasize customer satisfaction, through a focus on extensive testing, interoperability and an ongoing qualitative certification process, which will enhance the opportunity for JMR and our partners. The customer benefit of this strategic partnership is to ensure that when the storage solution users embark on setting up their specific configuration, it is guaranteed to work.
