Watertown, Mass., and Burlington,
Vermont, March 30, 2004 – Sanbolic,
Inc. developer and manufacturer of software and file system for
shared storage solutions, and VTEC, Inc. a leader in providing enterprise
business continuity solutions, announce that VTEC will resell Sanbolic’s
Melio FS (File System) as part of their SMB and enterprise storage
solutions. This program allows both companies to build on their
complementary strengths in the combined SAN-NAS, Microsoft Windows
computing environment.

application configurations and files in a SAN using a single integrated
file system whereby multiple servers have more flexible access to

VTEC has identified SAN-NAS prospects where prospective
users would see a doubling in storage utilization and reduced cost
of ownership. Sanbolic's clustered journaling file system, Melio
FS, provides customers with a storage solution that significantly
reduces management time and expenses while allowing more flexible
access to mission critical data. Melio FS provides unlimited scalability,
and LAN integration through support of NFS and CIFS. Melio FS is
also hardware agnostic supporting Fibre Channel, SCSI and iSCSI
protocols.
