and Sanbolic Announce Strategic Relationship
RAID Storage and Volume Sharing Solution
for the Windows NT and 2000 Market
Boulder, Colorado, and Watertown,
Mass., July 1, 2002 - Chaparral Network
Storage, Inc., a developer of specialized appliances that deliver
data across global storage networks, and Sanbolic, Inc. a developer
and manufacturer of advanced software for shared storage announced
today an expansion of their strategic relationship. The relationship
brings a highly functional, RAID storage volume sharing product
to the Windows NT and Windows 2000 market.
Chaparral will integrate the Sanbolic volume sharing
software into their industry leading StratisRAID storage products.
The integrated software solution, RAIDar™ Access Manager,
provides SAN users with volume sharing capabilities and allows them
direct access to all data on the storage through fibre channel connection.
The improvement of the data management and accessibility across
the SAN will create a time saving and cost effective storage environment.

The agreement enables Chaparral Network Storage
to distribute an integrated software solution in its StratisRAID

RAIDar Access Manager will be available to purchase in the third
quarter through its distributors and resellers in the United States,
Europe and Pacific Rim.
