Sanbolic Inc. is a privately held company that was founded in 2000.
Our headquarters are located in Watertown, Massachusetts and our development
center is based in a subsidiary company in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Sanbolic Inc. provides advanced software
for shared storage solutions. Networked storage is one of the fastest
growing segments of the information technology market. Our products
address the growing customer need for platform- and protocol-independent
tools that simplify data storage management, increase system flexibility,
and enable shared access to information in a reliable, scalable, and
secure data environment.
The company released the first version of Melio File System
in 2003, and the first version of LaScala volume manager in 2004.
Version 2.0 of both products became available in early 2006. LaScala
Disto was released in 2005.
The company has developed its own intellectual property in the area
of transaction management, locking algorithms, file layout, and clustering,
as well as development and testing tools. Sanbolic has submitted seven
US patent applications with over 150 claims. The company is funded by individual investors. |
