Prisimsworks Technology Inc. was selected as partner of the month because they won and delivered on a competitive bit to implement a state-of-art NLE (Non Linear Editing) SAN deployment at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives by bidding a total HP storage solution with an EVA8000 High Performance storage array and twelve XW8200 workstations.

Prisimsworks also provided Sanbolic’s Melio FS and LaScala software as part of the solution. The ability to provide multiple editing systems access to the same storage pool at the same time (read and write) presents many advantages to workflow efficiency, including increased storage efficiency and reduced personnel time to move assets.   Editors can pick up a project at will, and share in the development without moving it or requiring editors to move offices.  The project was based on SAN simplification and workflow efficiency.
