Sanbolic Partners with Pi-Solution

Pi Solution Signs Distribution Contract
and Shows Sanbolic Product as Part of Advanced Broadcast Demo at
IBC

Netherlands, September 13, 2002 - Sanbolic,
Inc. developer and manufacturer of software and file system for
applications used in storage networks today announced that they
have signed an agreement with distributor Pi-Solution in the Netherlands.
Pi Solution will resell Sanbolic products as part of their Pi XStreamFC
solutions, targeted at broadcast, post production and educational
customers, through their European reseller channel.
Pi Solution's Pi XStreamFC incorporates the latest
2Gbit network technologies in combination with universal file access
and HTML Asset management. Designed as a turnkey system, Pi XStreamFC
revolutionizes the way users can access, share and find digital
media assets across operating systems, departments and across the
web. Featuring cutting edge technologies such as soap peer-to-peer
command networking, and Sanbolic's shared journaling file system,
in their demonstrations during IBC, Pi XStreamFC provides answers
to today's high-speed networking demands.

Sanbolic aims at meeting the increasing requirements
of applications used in workgroup and enterprise environments. Sanbolic's
shared journaling file system, Melio FS, reduces production time
by providing multiple paths to the data, whilst keeping throughput
capacity. Melio FS uses point-to-point connection between servers
and data on the storage, it keeps journaling logs for redundancy
purposes, and uses advanced locking mechanisms not to interfere
with the workflow. The file system provides unlimited scalability,
and LAN integration through support of NFS and CIFS.
