Watertown, Mass., November 20, 2003
– Sanbolic, developer of advanced

associated with high availability, computer based storage solutions,
today announced support for Windows 2003 and iSCSI protocol for
both Kayo 3.1 and Melio FS 1.0.
Melio FS 1.0 and the new 3.1 version of Kayo now
support Windows 2003. Melio FS 1.0 also provides support for Windows
Storage Server 2003 used in NAS products by several vendors. Windows
2003 support complements existing operating systems supported by
both products; Windows 2000, and XP. Melio FS and Kayo now also
support iSCSI protocol, providing compatibility with Intel and Cisco
iSCSI drivers, which allows multiple users to access the data on
the shared fibre channel, SCSI, or iSCSI storage directly. Full
CIFS integration into Melio FS allows scalability of SAN attached
NAS heads for higher throughput performance and expansion of storage,
in a Windows environment.
